Takoma Attachment Parenting (TAP) helps parents develop
healthy, close connections with their children through family-to-family
support.
We believe that treating children with respect and valuing the dignity
of all family members form the basis of a fulfilling family life.
We recognize that each family is unique and encourage creativity in addressing the challenges of parenting.
TAP is an open, welcoming group that embraces the full diversity of our community.
We are located in Takoma Park, MD. However, our community includes families from Takoma DC, Silver Spring, College Park, Riverdale, Hyattsville, and other parts of the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
We have monthly meetings as well as listserves, libraries, and activities. Children are always welcome.
